I am Sarah, a 24 years old researcher with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and a master's degree in ethology (the study of animal behaviour), and I am currently beginning a doctoral thesis on the cognition of wolves and dogs. 🎓🐺

Alongside my studies specializing in canine behaviour for which I am frequently working with dogs, I worked as a volunteer for over a year in a pet shelter and completed internships with veterinarians. As a result, I have developed an easy rapport with animals, especially dogs! 🐕🦺

In my home country (Belgium), I grew up with a lot of different animals at home: dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens... I am therefore used to taking care of animals since my childhood and I have always enjoyed spending time with them 🥰 I am specialised in dogs, but I can take care of those other animals as well.

I currently live alone in a dog-friendly student accommodation in Vienna. There are no other animals in my accomodation, so I can focus entirely on your pet without interference from other animals, ensuring their maximum well-being. 🫶 The accomodation is small but cosy, there is a comfortable dog bed, different kind of treats (waiting for your approbation) and toys. There is also a special bathroom for dogs-only, where I could wash your dog at the end of the day or after a long walk (optional and free). There is no garden, but the accomodation is close to dog parks and nice areas to walk by! 🌞 

Therefore, you can entrust your pet to me with complete confidence; they will be in good hands and have a great time while waiting for your return! 🤗 

Here are the services that I propose:

- Dog Walking (Max 3 dogs): Tell me where you want to meet, and I will be there to take your dog(s) for a nice walk together! A walk lasts 30 minutes and costs 9€. Longer walks in the forest, walks in the city-center or more rural areas, or playing with your companion in free-dogs zones (Hundezonen); the choice is all yours, based on the preferences of your dog. 🐕🦺 

- Day care at my home (Max 2 dogs): If you are busy for the day and don't want to leave your best friend alone, it would be my pleasure to take care of him/her for the day at my place. I will adapt the program of the day based on your dog's age, breed, and personnality. Do not hesitate to let me know at what frequency you would like me to take him/her for a walk (standard: 30min walk every 2 hours), what they usually like to do during the day (calm dog who likes to rest at home, vs energetic dog who likes to play and go outside) and if there is any specific information that I should know about. The base price for a day of care at my home is 20€. 🐶

- 24-hours care at my home (For 1 dog): If you have to leave overnight or for several days, I am also offering a service to take care of your dog(s) at my home. Just bring your dog's food, a few treats, his favourite toys and his leash, and I will take care of all the rest! Please let me know the specifities of your dog, so I can adapt myself the best possible for him to feel comfortable. The base price for 24 hours is 30€. 🫶 

For all three services, I will be taking care of your dog(s) only, in other words I don't take appointments from different owners at the same time: so that I am fully focused on the well-being of your particular dog(s). For all three services, your dog(s) will never be left alone. During the week-end, I will be fully available for them. During the week, I would work from home or take them to the office with me (if you think that it is okay for them), so that they would stay with me for the full duration of the pet-sitting.
